Made with Guile Hoot! I'd implemented most of the base systems I wanted to use, but had no time left for the game! I may have been slightly too ambitious, but in fairness, Hoot can be a real bother to debug.

I'd actually done the bulk of the system code fairly quickly without using Hoot, but even having restricted myself to r7rs I had a bit of trouble during the transition.

I think I'll write a shim that can call Hoot-wrapped JS via RPC in a proper Guile runtime, and use that to work a bit more on this game. Check back later!

Install instructions

The source code has a great README from the hoot game jam template. In short, install the deps listed in manifest.scm and run make.
